Course LibGuides
Instructors may request a LibGuide be created for specific assignments or an entire course. LibGuides are customized per the instructor's request in order to provide students a single reference point on completing research in that course. We ask for advanced notice as LibGuides take time to create and implement. Click below to send an email request.
Course Reserves
Instructors may request that certain items, physical or electronic, be placed on a short term reserve for students in their classes to use. The library can place physical items on 1 hour, 3 hour, 24 hour, and 48 hour reserve. This includes licensing for electronic resources.
Library Instruction
Instructors may request that a librarian visit their class to discuss any number of topics including: general research skills, using citation styles (APA, Chicago, & MLA) and Zotero, assignment specific research strategies, plagiarism, and more. Click below to send an email request.
Purchase Request
Instructors may request that the library purchase specific texts, articles, films, and other resources for their classes. The library does ask that purchase requests be made only for those items that can be used by the instructor's students.
Research Plan Worksheets
One way to improve the quality of student research is to require them to do a research plan worksheet. Library staff will work with you to make sure students are not only doing proper research, but also using reputable sources. Instructors also have the option of requiring students to meet one-on-one with a librarian. Click below to send an email request.
